The aim of Ferrovial Corporation is to design the Company's strategy, establishing global policies, guidelines and action guides related to the different functional areas of the Organization (Internal Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Innovation, etc.), which subsequently are developed and adapted to the specificities of each Business Unit. Additionally, it performs a function of providing corporate services to the different companies of the group, while consolidating its information. For our new Energy Infrastructure and Mobility division (located in Madrid), we are looking for a Legal Counsel experienced in Litigation who will join the Legal Department, reporting to a Senior Lawyer.
**Funciones**
1. Manage, coordinate and monitor litigation or claims of different nature (commercial, administrative, civil, anti-trust ) in different jurisdictions. 2. Defend and represent the Company in punctual proceedings before the courts, with external help when needed. 3. Assess and design of litigation strategy including pre-litigation phase. 4. Active participation in supporting projects of all kind: M&A transactions, bidding and PFIs, Joint Ventures, etc. either directly or interacting with local law firm. 5. Drafting and reviewing agreements and contracts of different nature. 6. Legal analysis of investment, divestment or bid proposals so that they are presented in accordance with internal regulations, drafting the corresponding legal report analyzing risks with the aim of providing information and recommendations for decision making. 7. Provide legal support to other departments of the business unit, resolving their doubts and detecting and dealing with risks, with the aim of assuring that the interests of Ferrovial are optimally defended.
**Habilidades y experiência**:

- University degree in Spanish Law. - Bilingual/Native level of English. - Previous experience with anglo-saxon law system. - 3-4 years of experience minimum, in a first-tier law firm or as an inhouse lawyer to a multinational firm - Experience in litigation, mainly commercial litigation. Professional Qualities: - Effectively manage tasks and deadlines independently. - Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure. - Superior interpersonal communication, decision-making, project management and negotiating skills. - Computer proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.
