Purpose of the job**:KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
To manage key relationships with Account teams and buying office/quality team in order to stablish the standard that need to be fulfilled depending on the product category customer is requesting. This includes the AQL Levels with Maximum and Minimum deviations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join HH Global as we on-board, develop and grow, working closely with our client, a well-known food company, to get their approval of our promo projects
You will monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance, measuring against set standards. This is to support the Project and Account management teams in ensure that the products provided by HH Global are compliant with legislation and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revise mandatory / relevant information of every promo project, checking that is correct and complete
- Define the warnings of the promo items, according to the intended use, test reports and legislation of every promo project
- Perform FMEA and Technical Acceptance document of every promo project
- Revise / discuss projects with local client QC managers to get the approval
- Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met
- Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
- Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety
- Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards
- Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff and train them on QC requirements
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
- Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
- Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business
- Making sure the company team member related to Promotional products and others are working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors.
- Get customer product and factory approval according the determined standards
- Meeting customer QC department to create a standard to approve different product categories, factories, common deviations found and stablish correction plans
- Quarterly reporting and review of activities and projects QC results including problems and optimization opportunities
- Manage quality of jobs adhering to client Corporate guidelines
- Proactively manage all communication with the client - Quality areas throughout and ensure the account teams are advised in writing, of any delays that may impact the time lines of their customer projects
Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:EXPERIENCE**
- Excellent experience in plastic, metallic, ceramic, glass, têxtiles, etc (Products that can be used as promotional items) related environment
- Excellent knowledge of production process of the products that can be used as a promotional products, covering the full spectrum
- Able to organise and supervise product production passes with factory / Customer Quality, showing ability to add value and take responsibility for end product
- Active listener - someone who is able to listen to customers to identify and meet needs, as well as listen to vendors to check the best possibilities of product development/compliance to cover customer needs
- Competent in MS Word/Excel and Outlook
- Fluent in English and the local language and wider reaching language skills are desired
