**About the role**

The role is responsible for the “end to end“ approach of all materials constituting the finished product, from the development and definition of the new ones during the validation phases to the management of existing ones. It also represents the interface to product management team.

They contribute to deliver product upgrades in relation with the material definition and development securing that project goals are achieved from a quality and process performance point of view.

**What You Will Do**:

- **Is contact person for the Initiative Leader in the validation process for all raw material aspects**:

- **Develops new BOM material technical data sheets and test materials.**:

- **Supports and participates to the trial execution to launch a new product/material and co-ordinates the collection of material test data**:

- **Supports and shares the info with GBIS / EPM / R&D Packaging / Sourcing to develop a new material/project.**:

- **Participates and supports machine technology modifications in relation with materials aspects.**:

- **Investigates for new Value Engineering or Material Rationalization saving opportunities in relation to materials**:

- **Is responsible for the continuous improvement of Bils of Materials (BOM) to support the performance of production lines**:

- **Coaches the Process Engineers on materials specifications and characteristics**:

- **Manages the flow of information with the Quality Department in case of material internal quality incidents or material complaints.**:

- **Actively communicates with the material suppliers to define/optimize material characteristics or to manage complaints in collaboration with the Quality, Initiative, Operation and Procurement departments.**:
**Who You Are**:

- University degree in related field
- Working experience in related field
- (functional) leadership experience is preferred
