Our Financial Actuaries are on the frontlines, quantifying risk, pricing insurance and reserving losses for AIG’s major regulated and rated insurance operating companies globally. Portfolio Analytics and Pricing Actuaries support AIG’s businesses and are responsible for technical pricing, product development analytics and performance measurement. They collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Financial Management.

About the role

What you need to know:
The actuary specialist will be responsible for:

- BR Gaap Reserves calculation (IBNR, LTP)
- LAT calculation
- ALM calculation
- Support to the accounting and actuarial audit
- Support to the local regulator reports
- Usgaap IBNR

What we’re looking for:

- Local certified Actuary (desirable)
- Advanced English Skills
- Experience with IBNR
- Experience of US GAAP reporting
- Experience with P&C and Financial Lines is preferred
- Excellent business acumen along with the expertise to navigate and achieve the organization’s financial goals
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Highly organized, attention to detail and delivery focused
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
