**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Gather from Customers and other sources information about each opportunity and the Customer’s development plan, strategy, and evaluation method.
- Inform Customers about GE Vernova technology and solutions through in-person and online presentations.
- Use thermodynamic modeling software to model Simple Cycle (SC), Combined Cycle (CC), and Combined Heat & Power (CHP) plants.
- When appropriate, work cross-functionally to conduct configuration optimization.
- Conduct economic life-cycle evaluation analysis of GE Vernova and competitor solutions for projects prior to formal Request For Proposal (RFP).
- Work closely with New Unit Sales and within the broader Applications Engineering and Product Line Management teams to ensure optimum GE Vernova competitiveness.
- Proactively assess product fit and define an influencing strategy to best position GE Vernova prior to firm bid. Products include Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine, Aeroderivative Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, and Heat Recovery Steam Generator.
- Work closely with New Unit Sales to establish a pre-ITO level of technical information flow to develop gas power projects.
- Respond to Customer requests for technical information prior to RFP, including providing transmission interconnect data and emissions data for permitting.
- Define and communicate to the ITO proposal team the project background, optimum configuration, necessary approvals obtained, and bid strategy.
- Gather competitive data and support post win and post mortem analyses.
- Analyze and report back to the business regional Customer needs and trends.
- Provide Customer feedback to internal functions (i.e. Solution Architect, Value Engineering) regarding the preferred configuration designs and strategy.

**Required Qualifications**
- Advanced Engineering degree is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GE Gas Power products and technology (Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine and/or Aeroderivatives, Steam Turbine, CC, CHP), processes and organizational structure.
- Experience in Thermal performance simulation tools (GTP, Ebsilon etc)
- Prior experience in engineering, construction or operation of large power plants.
- Proactively seeks broad input to bound decisions and stays informed with the latest industry trends.

- Keeps customer and business impacts in forefront of problem solving and decision making processes

- Utiliser des logiciels de modélisation thermodynamique pour modéliser les centrales à cycle simple (SC), à cycle combiné (CC) et de production combinée de chaleur et d’électricité (CHP)
- Le cas échéant, travailler de manière transversale pour optimiser la configuration
- Mener une analyse d'évaluation du cycle de vie économique des solutions de GE Vernova et de celles des concurrents pour les projets, avant la réponse officielle à l’appel d’offres
- Évaluer de manière proactive l'adéquation du produit et définir une stratégie d'influence afin de positionner GE Vernova au mieux avant la phase de proposition ferme ; les produits concernés comprennent les turbines à gaz industrielles, les turbines à gaz aérodérivées, les turbines à vapeur, les alternateurs et les chaudières de récupération de chaleur
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes commerciales Nouvelles unités afin d'établir un flux d’informations techniques en phase pré-ITO, permettant de développer le volume de projets Gas Power
