Meraki Talent’s client is currently looking to hire a Financial Control & Regulatory Accountant to their team in Madrid. Our client is a leading Global Bank which has a diversified portfolio of clients across all key market segments. Due to ongoing growth and development within their Madrid office they require an Accountant with Portugues languages skill to join.

Key responsibilities in the role:

- Responsible for the reviewing and filing of regulatory reports
- Managing the general ledges including contracts, reconciliations and review
- Co-ordinating intercompany and accounts payable activities
- Receiving and replying to requests for information from the regulators and tax authorities
- Implementing changes in regulations to ensure compliance
- Project work

Key requirements for the role:

- Fluent in Portuguese
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
- Experience in Financial Control
- Ideally experience in Regulatory Reporting
