**SCRUM Master for the Product Area**

**Location: Madrid**

**Purpose of the role**

**You will make an impact in this role, you will be able to**:

- Drive solution-based outcomes through the facilitation of scrum events, defined sprints, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups, meetings, and workshops
- Maintain the product backlog using techniques for effective backlog management
- Ensure the Scrum Team understands and communicates progress towards their product goals with Product stakeholders ensuring timely involvement (e.g., IT Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Product Managers)
- Leverage tools & techniques providing clear, relevant, up to date and metrics-based visibility of progress
- Coordinate with Project Managers, the Delivery Leaders, and Product teams to ensure dependencies are understood and managed
**Software Engineering & Delivery - Scrum Master**
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of SAP (ECC, SCC and/or S4/HANA)
- Valuable to know COBOL
- Recognized Agile qualifications (SAFe Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I).)
- Recognized Waterfall qualifications
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)
- Strong communication and servant leadership skills
- Functional knowledge of financial support tools like Hyperion, Anaplan, Planful, Workday, Watson
- Forming strong stakeholder relationships, with a proven ability to influence and persuade internally and externally
- Effective stakeholder management, balancing and finding compromises between opposing views and opinions
- Ability to recognize priorities and guide others towards the accomplishment of strategic business goals and objectives
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proven digital product experience i.e., working with Product team(s)
- Proven track record of passionately delivering in a Scrum environment, displaying excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Experience in successfully operating in a software development environment
