**Summary of position with general responsibilities**:
- Manage and develop sales territory with existing and new customers, including clinical and non-clinical partners. Assisting in developing key referral networks.
- In certain geographies will also have primary responsibility for development of referral networks.
- Act as primary account relationship contact for assigned territory’s customer needs. Includes coordination of all support activities and development of sales to met or exceed quarterly objectives set by the Area Sales Rep.
- To be the capacity to organize a Clinical Session with Doctors, to organize trials in Operation Room and to close the business negotiation with Purchase or Pharmacy Department
- **This position will report to the Area Sales Rep**:**ROLE**
- Achievement of profitable above budget sales of Bard Biosurgery portfolio by selling implantable devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, buyers groups, and other appropriate medical staff
- Proactive support/service of all customers (new and existing) in the sales area of responsibility.
- Providing field service and case coverage to customers per their individual needs
- To be the capacity to organize a Clinical Session with Doctors, to organize trials in Operation Room and to close the business negotiation with Purchase or Pharmacy Department
Preparing and submitting field visit reports as required by Area Sales Rep
- Maintaining up-to-date customer records in corporate Sales CRM and other records in accordance with Area Sales Rep and company policy
- Visiting hospitals and solicit orders from present and prospective customers for the assigned products
- Seeking new customers and formulate and follow plans for such action as directed by the Area Sales Rep.
- Handling customer complaints in accordance with BD XXXX policy and advise Area Sales Rep and RAQA function promptly of any situation beyond scope of authority.
- Meeting or exceeding sales quota and total company market share in assigned territory
- Staying attentive to competitor’s product and merchandizing practices and keep the Area Sales Rep informed
- Attending and participating in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed
- Assisting in the field training of any sales person as requested by the Area Sales Rep. Cooperating with all personnel on the execution of Company programs
- Creating and implementing an annual business plan with quarterly updates
- Deep understanding of the clinical benefits of Products Infection Prevention & Hemostatics/Sealants products and skilled and persuasive communication of those therapy and product benefits to drive acceptance, preference and sales
- Submitting reports and provide information as directed
- Adhering to company policies and conduct all business in an ethical manner
- Managing business with BD XXXX profitability in mind
- Traveling significantly within assigned territory to cover hospital cases, make account calls, move loaner sets to needed locations and attend meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows
- Other duties as assigned
- University/College Degree.
- 1-2 years minimum sales experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Strong knowledge of the of the bioSurgery field (Added value)
- Hardworking, enthusiastic, resilient and can demonstrate a successful record in training healthcare professionals which will include the implementation of new products
- Able to demonstrate the ability to identify new opportunities whilst maintaining excellent customer relations within established accounts and develop key opinion leaders
- Able to demonstrate effective negotiation and account management skills.
- Interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Hardworking, enthusiastic, resilient and can demonstrate a successful record in sales which will include the implementation of new product lines.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to drive for new business whilst maintaining excellent customer relations within established accounts and develop key opinion leaders.
**Preferred**:
- Sales experience in medical devices industry.
- Sales experience in the Hemostats and related therapies with competitive knowledge (Added value, not needed).
