The goal of this department is to deliver world-class supply chain performance; material availability, forecasting strategy while coordinating cost, quality and on-time delivery **Responsibilities** As a Supply Chain Planner your responsibilities will include: - Implement tasks in support of Supply Chain and Repair performance related to planning i.e. - Examine high missed expedited/redirected deliveries, inventory increases, etc. - Evaluate delivery performance misses, Identify guiding factors through root cause and Pareto - Evaluate stocking strategies; Rounding Values, Minimum Order Quantities & forecasts in SAP to identify opportunities for improvement - Forecast and Maintain Regional Kanban levels initiating replenishment of high-value Main Components - Partner with our regional Service Business Unit (SBU) to obtain and validate demand forecasts for contractual and aftermarket sales Support **Qualifications** - Minimum 5-10 years experience in Sr. Planning role with proven experience in large value inventories (inventarios de gran valor) - Expertise in SAP or above is required. Minimum 5 years of experience - Solid PC skills (MS Office and SharePoint) required, heavy focus on Excel, SQL, Access, and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of root cause/corrective action practices - Knowledge of spare parts and repair/defect material LEAN inventory planning, and impacts on cash flow in the form of inventory in a service environment **Competencies** - Highly motivated with demonstrated accountability and ownership. - Functions effectively in a time-sensitive situation in environments of rapid change and conflicting demands. - Demonstrated ability to balance complex priorities. - Demonstrates a sense of urgency in meeting goals. - Ability to assimilate technical and commercial information and translate that into appropriate business assessments. - Essential behaviors - collaboration, continuous improvement, flexibility, customer focus, active listener, etc. - High-quality oral and written communication skills including confidentiality, interpersonal skills, presentation skills and an ability to use a variety of communication tools. - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, especially senior managers, and other key decision-makers. - Proficient communication in English (written and orally).
