**About The Role**:
Cobee is on a scaling mission going through high growth. After scaling from 40 to +150 people in less than 1 year and launching new markets across the globe, the Platform team at Cobee needs to collect, protect, and make all the generated data available for our internal users.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer at Cobee, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our technical infrastructure to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our Data Platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and improve our systems.

**As a Senior Data Engineer, you will**:

- Be part of the Platform team, dedicated to empowering engineers and data analysts across Cobee to work with data and get insights out of it.
- Design and maintain both batch and real-time data pipelines to support the needs of product and engineering teams.
- Collect, process, and clean data from different sources using SQL, Python, or any other language that fits the purpose.
- Participate in the development and administration of the Data Platform as a product.
- Support Product Teams in the usage of the Platform and Data Platform.
- Work intensively with Kubernetes (our whole data platform is deployed on top of it).You will be in charge of deploying, maintaining, and monitoring all the platform components.
- Use best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Think big and contribute to the strategy for better data quality within Cobee.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proficiency working with ClickHouse. It is the core of our platform, so we think it is important to have good knowledge here
- Experience with Kafka and its ecosystem (Kafka Connect and Schema Registry in particular) to extract and load data in a streaming fashion.
- Someone skilled in extracting data from diverse sources such as APIs, databases, and files, consolidating it into a central repository for analysis. Currently, our setup involves using Airbyte and custom-built pipelines.
- Programming proficiency in Python, Go, or another relevant language.
- Experience developing data tools to empower and democratize access to data.
- Demonstrated experience with orchestration tools (we use Dagster, but any of the kind is enough).
- Knowledge on how to monitor critical aspects of the Data Platform.
- Previous experience as a Data Engineer working with Kubernetes and Helm Charts.
- Basic understanding of AWS tools and services.
- Some familiarity with DBT, the tool our analysts utilize to craft custom models within ClickHouse.
