Job Summary
The Sourcing Analyst will be based in Spain. In this position, you will report to the Sourcing Manager.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do...
- Data collection, mining & analysis from various sources to help Sourcing Leaders to develop and execute sourcing strategy;
- Supplier scouting and benchmarking for mechanical components based on criteria set by Sourcing Leaders;
- Prepare and manage RFQs, support supplier negotiations and escalations;
- You will support and manage cost roadmaps, capacity planning, and allocation strategy for the fasteners and tools;
- Drive and support new supplier development, qualification, and onboarding processes;
- Maintain supplier performance metrics and organize QBRs with suppliers;
- You will perform supply and demand analysis, landed cost analysis, supplier performance trends, cost of quality analysis, weighted average scoring and analysis for various situations supply chain team encounters;
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams for scouting new sources, new supplier qualification, supplier cost recovery and new product introduction;
- Develop global inventory stocking strategy and collaboration with Project Management and Supply chain teams to define the inventory management rules.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)...
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of supply chain experience;
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and high level of proficiency with Excel: comfortable with Pivot Tables, Vlookups and complex formula creation;
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral, strong grammar, with experience in content editing and preparing formal reports and presentation;
- Effective Communicator with ability to influence suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders;
- Good project management skills with ability to plan tasks, manage progress, remove barriers, manage change, resolve conflict, build consensus, and motivate team members across multiple projects concurrently;
- Must be comfortable in a supporting role, taking direction from and working closely with a supervisor on a regular basis;
- Enjoys working in a dynamic & multi-cultural environment;
- Bilingual: Spanish and English;
