Senior Analyst - Structured Credit - Madrid

**Structured Finance is currently seeking a Credit Analyst**

Fitch's European Structured Finance (SF) team maintains and assigns ratings to SF transactions across four main asset classes: Asset Backed Securities, Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities and Structured Credit. The team currently maintains surveillance on over 1,500 European SF transactions.

Furthermore, the Covered Bonds (CvB) team maintains about 100 public ratings mainly in Europe, but also in Americas and Asia-Pacific. The Madrid-based SF & CvB team comprises currently nine analysts and it is responsible for assigning and maintaining ratings on approximately 130 Iberian transactions.

**What We Offer**:

- We are currently seeking either an Analyst or Senior Analyst Level Credit Analyst to join the European Structured Finance team
- The team analyses transactions in line with Fitch's rating criteria and provides high quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants

**We'll Count on You To**:

- Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling
- Reviewing transaction legal documents
- On-site review of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators
- Preparing rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees
- Communicating rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings
- Communicating with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactions
- Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research

**What You Need to Have**:

- Knowledge of securitisation structures would be beneficial
