What we are looking for

SATLANTIS is looking for a Mission Manager to 1) coordinate and supervise missions, ensuring that mission objectives are met 2) coordinate and supervise the mission data processing and delivery service to users ensuring that their requests and service levels are met 3) operate the mission data infrastructure tools.

A detailed list of tasks to be performed is provided below.

It is not expected that all tasks listed here will be performed by a single person, but in cooperation with the rest of the team, where responsibilities are assigned based on individual experience and capabilities.
- Coordinate and supervise the mission ensuring that mission objectives are met.
- Coordinate and supervise the mission's data processing and delivery service to users ensuring that their requests and service levels are met.
- Operation of the mission data infrastructure tools.
- Work with the rest of the units involved in the mission in developments and implementations that respond to incidents reported by users and new mission needs.
- Receive and follow up on the execution of user acquisition requests.
- Implement contingency plans in response to anomalies.
- Collaborate in the definition and preparation of new missions, in particular concerning the data infrastructure and user segment.
- Preparation of documentation for mission service reports.
- Create and manage project documentation, including deliverables, reports, meeting agenda and minutes.
- Organize and attend required external meetings with customer or project partners.

Skills and experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace, industrial, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications engineering, physics, geo-information science or equivalent.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and synthesize technological concepts.
- High oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High level of English.

Preferred
- Interest and knowledge about the space sector.
