Vp Supply Chain Global Planning Coe

**Location**: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid)

**Scope**:
As a member of the extended Global SC Leadership team, the role will have overall responsibility for the Supply Chain Global Planning CoE function. Main responsibilities include:
**Governance**: Ensuring stability of all supply chain planning processes across Firmenich ensuring consistency within and across our operational framework

**Mastery**: Accountable for the framework for how Firmenich employees acquire the necessary skills to execute the work and deliver operational excellence for our supply chain metrics

**Innovation**: Owns identification of process and supporting supply chain technologies to drive Firmenich performance to best in class in our vertical providing a competitive edge in our agility

**Key Responsibilities**:
Build the Global Planning CoE team and ensure excellence in capability transformation for planning functions across regions, working in partnership with Regional Leadership and planning team on overall Planning deliverables working in partnership with other Global COEs and commercial stakeholders

Be a steward of existing Firmenich Planning system, processes, capability and qualification, and talents and identify needed interventions to step change performance

Manage Planning CoE team and enable planning capabilities across regional planning teams to deliver on current objectives, goals and deploy the continuous improvements initiatives required to build capabilities across globe. Ensure organizational and CoE measures are tied to operational improvement metrics

Own the planning transformational projects for all critical global supply chain planning initiatives, i.e: Orchestra - Kinaxis IBP platform solution

Build & Develop the robust Planning functions, systems, process across: IBP, Demand Planning, PLM, Inventory Management, Master Data, Supply & Capacity planning, SND & SNO and Distribution Requirements Planning

Assess and evolve Global & Regional Planning capabilities across Training, qualification, and Health Audit for the optimization of global planning organization. Provide quarterly assessments of progress and gaps to the supply chain leadership team

Drive for global standardization and process design. Establish operational review process across business units and/or regional operations to assess ‘process drift’ which can undermine Firmenich process stability and agility

Lead Business Analysis and visualization processes for executive and global managements

Establish, monitor, and maintain the supply chain planning performance in short/Mid/Long terms, incl. Revenue sufficiency, OTIF, Inventory, Inventory losses, leadtime, etc., put in place techniques to bring these critical operational metrics alive for our supply chain employees
