**British American Tobacco Iberia has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate and Regulatory Affairs in Madrid**

BAT is committed to building A Better Tomorrow by Building a Smokeless World aimed at reducing the health impact of our business. Our strategic aim is to migrate smokers from cigarettes to smokeless alternatives and become a predominantly smokeless business by 2035.

The department of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs plays a key role in BAT´s ambition of Building a Smokeless World. On one hand, contributing to an open and collaborative dialogue with authorities for an evidence-based and risk-proportionate regulation of smokeless alternative products. On the other, engaging with media for providing credible and solid information to public opinion.

The Intern joining BAT will have the opportunity to be part of the team, contributing to deployment of both regulatory and media strategy

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Support in the mapping of key political and media stakeholders and gathering intelligence on legislative initiatiatives
- Support in the elaboration of press and audiovisual materials
- Support in the elaboration of position papers and advocacy materials for political and regulatory stakeholders
- Support in the preparation of presentations of plans and activities for seniors levels of BAT
- Support in management of the budget of the Department and other administrative tasks

**What are we looking for?**
- Graduate in public affairs, political science, communication, documentalists or equivalent.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability for team work at highest ethical standards
- As a minimum, fluent in Spanish and English both written and spoken. Proficiency in other languages merited
- Proficient in Microsoft 360 suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
