THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be part of the **GLOBAL PROCUREMENT INTERN,** in Philip Morris Spain.

We are looking for

- Working with the Category Manager Commercial & PS, the Global Procurement Intern, will help develop the global “Trade Engagement” category at PMI which represents $30Mio in annual spend
- Our global procurement function is headquartered in Madrid however the majority of our stakeholders and colleagues are across the globe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- This will involve:

- Development of global procurement strategy for the Trade Engagement category
- Conduct market research/scouting for potential new global and regional suppliers
- Supplier negotiations
- Work with in-house legal counsel to draft and finalize service agreements with suppliers.
- Project management, liaising with business stakeholders and procurement colleagues on cross-functional initiatives
- Data analysis
- Visualization of Trade Engagement category into high quality, cutting edge reports and presentations to help influence procurement management team, business stakeholders, and procurement colleagues

**REQUIREMENTS**:
You have:

- A recent Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines:

- Business Management
- Commerce
- Economics
- Visual Design & Communications
- Digital Marketing, OR
- or other similar / equivalent degree

- Full fluency in English
- IT skills
- Excel - Advanced
- Powerpoint - Advanced
- Experience with Adobe Suite of tools, especially InDesign, is highly desirable

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and find creative solutions to improve the consumer experience.
- Project Management: Organizational skills to manage and implement consumer experience improvement projects.

- Empathy: The ability to understand and empathize with customers' concerns and needs, providing a personalized experience.
