**WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?**

In our team you will **participate in the OSPF virtualization project**, a real-time element of the Galileo Mission Chain where **your main role** is related to the **migration of the current system from a specific hardware and operating system to a standard solution based on vmware and Linux.**

You will perform **system adaptation, migration, verification and optimization tasks in the new virtualized environment in close collaboration with the OSPF development team**.

Also, you will contribute to the **validation and verification of the OSPF and will adapt the documentation and update processes to the new environment.**

**WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?**

We are looking for **experts in software development** with **background and interest in Space and Telecommunications systems. **If you are passionate about** low level programming **and have a solid knowledge of** C, **this position is for you.

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

- Basic knowledge of **vmware**.
- Knowledge of operating systems (semaphores, shared memory, processes, threads, system calls, sockets, networks, etc.).
- ** Linux** knowledge.
