Description
We are a spin-off company of Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) and Fundación Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Santiago de Compostela (FIDIS). We are located within the USC biotechnology incubator with direct access to numerous research institutes and biotechnology companies, as well as relevant research groups in the areas of Physics, Optics and Biomedicine. In addition, Santiago de Compostela is a welcoming medium size city with high quality of life that has made a significant effort to develop a business network of initiatives with high technological potential and linked to university life.
**Tasks**
- Design and develop biological validation of Organ-on-a-chip systems to mimic the human physiological conditions.
- Coordinate the external biological validation of drugs with CROs and pharmaceutical companies.
- Coordinate both “Design and manufacturing” and “Biological validation and product” departments.
**Requirements**:
**Mandatory requirements**
- Interest in the field of bioengineering and biotechnology.
- Experience working with organ-on-a-chip technology.
- Fluent communication in English.
- Ability to lead a team, creativity, strategic thinking and initiative.
- PhD in Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology or Biochemistry.
**Valuable requirements**
- Previous experience managing teams.
- Previous R&D experience.
