**Responsibilities / What you will do**
- Design and develop structural solutions for body-in-white, chassis, suspension systems, and safety-critical components.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess and optimise stiffness, strength, durability and crash performance.
- Support material selection and structural layout decisions to meet lightweighting and manufacturing goals.
- Interface with design, dynamics, testing, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust and efficient structural solutions.
- Contribute to prototype builds, support failure investigations and recommend design improvements.
- Ensure structural systems comply with regulatory and customer requirements (FIA, EASA, OEM specs).
- Produce detailed technical documentation and present findings to project stakeholders.

**Experience / Who you are**
- 1st Class Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural or Automotive Engineering.
- Proven experience in structural analysis and design within the Automotive, Motorsport or Aerospace sectors.
- Skilled in FEA tools (e.g. ANSYS, Abaqus, OptiStruct, LS-DYNA) and CAD platforms (e.g. CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks).
- Deep understanding of structural mechanics, materials (metals and composites), fatigue and crash behaviour.
- Experience with lightweighting and topology optimisation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment.
