Solution Architect

We are looking for an **Solution Architect - Cloud** to be part of our **IT Platforms** team.

**The role**

As a **Solution Architect - Cloud** you will work in environments with wide and diverse range of technologies, solutions supporting Digital Brand Presence on different platforms, needs and requirements.

The position requires a strong emphasis on designing technical solution and presentation skills of Cloud technologies including GCP as main cloud and others like Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes and scripting and Infrastructure as a Code (IaC), and, in addition, understand of basic concepts of Networking, VPN, DNS, NAT, Security and Web hosting mindset.

**What you’ll do**
- Act in a consultative role for the Nestlé markets and work directly with market’s technical counterparts to identify specific requirements and design custom solutions within the IT Service Offering Portfolio to meet functional requirements.
- Drive platform innovation and exploit automation.
- Have a mindset of continuous innovation, continuous learning and improving.
- Drive upgrades, improvement initiatives and innovation proposals for the IT Platforms area.
- Coordinate the delivery of the designed and purchased solution to the Nestlé’s markets ensuring those meet Digital Asset Hosting standards and transition of the solution to sustain and operational teams
- Support the Nestlé’s markets in designing solutions from IT suppliers in a managed competition environment following latest technology trends, RFQ/RFP process in the best interest of the company.
- Defines Operational requirements and gaps for new and existing solutions.
- Internally, the Cloud Platform Architect is the Nestlé’s markets interface for IT suppliers and the operational staff across the organization.
- Collaborate with project managements in the infrastructure area, and the suppliers as IT teams to eliminate root causes/escalations.
- Mentoring and supporting other team members in the Digital Infrastructure team and outside, regarding new technologies, processes, and roadmaps.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in architecture for large scale digital channels, working with ITOps, IT Operations, Managed Hosting or Cloud Computing required.
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience with cloud architecture - especially GCP, AWS and/or Azure - (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS) with focus on scalability, security, and integration challenges.
- DevOps and Agile principles work environment experience.
- Experience with public and private cloud technologies, dedicated and multi-tenancy environments.
- Experience in architecting Hosting infrastructure to include Enterprise Networking, Servers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, IP Connectivity and SAN Storage.
- Computing experience in GCP, Azure and/or AWS in terms of configuration, sizing, performance etc. Cloud certifications highly desirable.
- PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes and Serverless experience.
