**Role description**:
Arcadis is looking for a Junior Environmental Consultant to join our Sustainable Operations team in Barcelona, ES.

You will support the team in the following tasks:

- Technical feasibility assessments regarding air emission abatement systems
- Waste surveys that identify opportunities for waste reduction or waste management
- Water optimization projects and/or studies on Wastewater technologies
- Evaluation of environmental conditions and risks upon transactions (Environmental Due Diligence)
- Compliance assessments or studies on the implementation of applicable environmental regulations (e.g. End-of-Life waste criteria)Working with industrial clients, managing their expectations and requirements, and helping them to achieve their sustainability targets

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering, preferably in combination with Master's in Environmental Engineering
- High level of English and Spanish - Knowledge of Catalan is an asset
- Affinity with industrial plants and ability to understand production processes, flow charts and P&IDsAnalytic, Hands-on mentality and Deliver-to-result approach with respect to reporting
