**Your mission in the team**
You will work closely with other developers, designers and key stakeholders within the business on creating and maintaining our core.
We're looking for people who are curious, willing to embrace their goals and passionate about engineering. You will be part of a motivated team, involved in the design, development and configuration of a new game.
**What do we expect from you?**
- Demonstrable previous work on customer-focused WebApps.
- Full understanding of both **Backend **and **Frontend** **technologies **while being able to develop a system involving both from scratch.
- A good understanding of the different forms of rendering on the web**:SSR**, **SSG**, **SPA**.
- You have a strong understanding of at least one **Python backend framework**, and the willingness to quickly pick up another as needed. We love using **FastAPI**.
- Previous experience building **RESTful** and/or **GraphQL** **APIs**.
- Understanding of how a well-architected distributed system looks like.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with employees at all levels and good written English.
- You're willing to grow in an environment of ever-changing requirements, change priorities on the fly and never get attached to written code, code is ephemeral, it's the results that matter.
**Key roles**
- Author performant, robust and testable code across the Tribes community platform repos.
- Implement frontend features while ensuring **UX**, performance, **SEO**, security and accessibility best practices are upheld.
- Build scalable and secure backend APIs integrating with a variety of data stores.
**Mandatory skills**
- You have experience working with **at least one Python backend framework**.
- You have experience working with **at least one JavaScript frontend framework**.
- Experience does not mean having spun up a server and used it a little bit. It means you have been working with it for a fairly long time and understand it well (at least one year)._
**It's nice to have**.
- CSS/ SCSS.
- Websockets.
- JS and CSS animations.
- Tailwind/Vuetify _(we use Vuetify)_.
- End-to-end testing.
- Google Cloud.
- Kubernetes.
- Docker (this one is almost mandatory).
- Online presence (portfolio, github, projects, apps...).
