About the Position

Position Overview

The International Compliance Manager will use attention to detail, a team player mindset, strong writing, and problem-solving skills to grow and support Invenergy’s Global Compliance Program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of Invenergy’s global compliance program.
- Provide compliance advisory to the different jurisdictions
- Provide compliance support to the business, including expansion strategies and integrations
- Coordination with compliance teams and compliance liaison contacts in different jurisdictions
- Assist in reviewing and implementing Invenergy’s compliance policies, procedures, and controls, and general corporate compliance laws and regulations consistent with the requirements of the U.S. Department of Justice Sentencing Guidelines, as related to international locations.
- Aid in any reporting or compliance monitoring activity requested by internal stakeholders and/or relevant third parties.
- Perform compliance on-site visits to the jurisdictions
- Lead the development and implementation of a third-party due diligence initiative, including the Know Your Customer program.
- Assist in preparing periodic reports to Invenergy’s senior management.
- Write concise documents that communicate complex and/or technical information for company-wide dissemination.
- Work with internal departments and international teams seeking collaboration while maintaining project deadlines and budgets.
- Assist with training and communications initiatives, such as with anti-corruption (i.e., Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and U.K. Bribery Act.)
- Familiarity with Environmental, Social, and Governance, Data Privacy and Data Protection, and Cybersecurity program development and implementation preferred.

**Required Skills**:

- Spanish and English fluency, written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials.
- 5-7 years’ experience working in a Compliance, Legal, Finance/Controllership Operations, Risk or Audit team, with preference for experience at an energy company, or similarly regulated entity, and experience building and implementing compliance programs.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial and project management skills, ability and willingness to work independently, effective time management skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of utility scale and/or renewable power systems is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent organizational, presentation/facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Nimble and collaborative work ethic.
- International travel required.
- Compliance, ESG or data protection related certifications or studies preferred
- Knowledge of project financing documents, and lender audits preferred
- Experience with risk management and monitoring of internal controls
