We are currently offering you a position as a Project Leader in permanent employment in Vigo/Spain "The ideal applicant has a background in programming, networking or electronics and has already experience in the daily tasks related with the management of consulting projects." Your tasks in the company: - Provide support and guidance to the team members to achieve the goals of the project. - Lead a joint team of developers and engineers towards the goals of the project to achieve the delivery of the project within the key constraints (Budget, Time, and Scope) - Plan, schedule and monitor the different milestones of the projects, as well as project plans for the different working packages. - Manage the project following a work breakdown structure (WBS) approach. - Create forecasts, manage project costs, profitability analysis and invoicing of the bills to ensure the financial viability of the project. - Identify and escalate any deviation or critical risks identified in the project life cycle. - Report internally the different project metrics for the company board. - Document the key project management documents of the project (risk register, stakeholder register, project charter, milestone chart, Scope statement, others) - Establish and maintain communication with the clients and main stakeholders of the project. - Manage the stages of the project following both predictive (waterfall) and agile (sprint, scrum) project management approaches. - Understand the key requirements of the project and communicate effectively with the customer to ensure a clear definition of the scope of the project. Adapt the different deliverables of the project based on identified deviations and desired features as well as key project goals (scope creep). Our position will make your heart beat faster **Your profile**: Requirements of the position: - Professional experience in automotive, telecommunications or software development industry. - Engineering background (Preferable Telecommunications or computer science) - Full professional proficiency in English language. Nice to have: - 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management - Professional working proficiency in German language desired. - Project Management certification (IPMA, CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, others) - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Good control of Microsoft Office package (in particular Excel) - Good understanding of the technical development processes for embedded software development, vehicle development and testing. - ISTQB Certification is desired. - Knowledge about networking protocols such as (TCP/IP, UDP, SOME/IP) - Experience with Cost Management, Scope Management and Stakeholder Management domains.
