Our teams work in highly agile working environments for Fortune 1000 clients, following XP practices and best CI/CD practices. We are looking for an IPTV/OTT Video Engineering Lead with open-minded personality, who can join our friendly environment and become a core contributor to our team of experts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading integration and development teams for TV and OTT/IPTV video platforms
- Working on integration of services from different partners with knowledge in API (REST) and SOAP
- Technical management of projects focused on workflow optimization and evolutionary development in TV environments
- You’ll be involved and providing technical guidance to the team, being hands on development and leading the team in all technical areas
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- At least 10 years of experience in integration solutions for the IPTV/OTT video industry
- Programming experience with Python, JavaScript and/or Bash
- Strong cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure-based solutions for storage, content management, and the E2E video distribution and metadata processing chain
- Video Delivery: Knowledge of video analysis and distribution solutions in cloud and on-premises environments (CDN, Origin Servers)
- Experience with backend platforms for content and metadata management on IPTV/OTT platforms
- Automation: Scripting for automation and platform support
- OTT/IPTV Systems: Management and configuration of encoding, DRM, and content packaging systems (HLS, MPEG DASH, Smooth Streaming)
- Machine Learning: Applied knowledge for video, automatic subtitling, and analysis tools like Amazon Rekognition
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum) and use of tools like Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate development or integration teams in complex projects with proven experience
- Ability to manage relationships with clients and providers, gather requirements, and add value to solutions
