Senior IT Product Owner
As part of an Agile Scrum product team, the Product Owner will work closely with Product Managers, other Product Owners, and Architects to help ensure features meet the Strategic blueprint of the products and make the most of the capabilities that these products offer across the whole Digital landscape.
Ownership of the Strategic Product Blueprint for several global product (s) they oversee or for their complex product area
Form a tight working relationship with some Business and Product Managers to understand the global product vision and provide thought leadership from a product solution perspective across several products as input to strategy
Collaborate with architects to agree on functional design and technology to be utilised across a number of products within the global solution
Direct the Scrum team in how the product needs to be developed to ensure the technical integrity of the solution is maintained and that the maximum re-use of components and micro-services are delivered.
Responsible for selection process re new technology choices within product areas. Facilitate the process, working with Architects, Product Managers, Product Owners, and development teams to choose appropriate technology
Accountable for the overall strategic alignment of the products within their area of responsibility and effective overall design across the products for the Business
Supports the story refinement process so that the Scrum team can immediately start on the next Sprint of approved stories and thus enable continuous delivery within the Sprint cadence
Takes the lead from a product team perspective in product innovation and creativity, focusing on outcomes and strategic alignment across all products in conjunction with the Architecture team
Respected as Product Authority across several product areas by all in Scrum team and outside it re Platform capabilities
Work with development teams to put together the requirements/specifications
