We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic** FP&A**Director** to lead our financial planning and analysis function. This role will be instrumental in driving financial visibility, supporting strategic decision-making, and optimizing business performance. The Director of FP&A will be based in our Madrid office and will work closely with senior leadership, providing insights that influence key business decisions and long-term financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
- **Financial Planning & Forecasting**: Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- **Strategic Analysis**: Provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and growth strategies.
- **KPI & Performance Tracking**: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational success, identifying areas for improvement.
- **Business Partnering**: Collaborate with department heads to drive financial accountability and ensure alignment between financial performance and operational strategy.
- **Variance Analysis**: Conduct financial analysis to assess trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations to senior leadership.
- **Financial Modeling**: Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario analysis, pricing strategies, and business case evaluations.
- **Reporting & Presentations**: Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and insights to the executive team and board of directors.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify and implement improvements in financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- **Risk Management**: Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive risk mitigation strategies are in place.

Your profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, BI tools, Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (e.g., scale-ups, multinational corporations, private equity-backed firms).
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
