**DESCRIPTION**:
As Studio Manager for our Barcelona studio, you'll spearhead a revolution in content creation, blending traditional filmmaking with GenAI and virtual production technologies. You'll guide a diverse team of creatives and tech innovators, crafting immersive shopping experiences that redefine e-commerce. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Elevated Shopping across Europe, driving innovation at the intersection of AI, visual storytelling, and customer experience. Key job responsibilities
- Provide strong people management, overseeing interdisciplinary teams and fostering their growth and development
- Drive operational efficiency while ensuring financial accuracy and strategic alignment
- Spearhead the adoption and integration of new technologies, including GenAI and virtual production techniques
- Establish and maintain structures that enable your team to solve complex problems and deliver results
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent, enhancing the team's skills and expertise
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and career development conversations with team members
- Manage and optimize workloads, ensuring work-life harmony while meeting business goals
- Create a culture of active listening, valuing team input, and taking appropriate action
- Partner with stakeholders to define and communicate the team's vision using Amazon's peculiar mechanisms
- Drive discussions with the right stakeholders, resulting in impactful decisions
- Define and track metrics to measure team progress, customer experience, and operational excellence
About the team
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor in Filmmaking, Media Studies, Art, Business or related field
- Fluency in English and Spanish/Catalan
- Proven experience in managing large-scale content studios or similar creative environments
- Strong background in filmmaking, virtual production, and new content creation technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop interdisciplinary teams
- Experience balancing operational, financial, and strategic aspects of a business unit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Amazon's leadership principles and ability to evangelize them
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Experience working in e-commerce or retail environments
- Track record of implementing innovative technologies in content production
