**Coordinator Biobank & Biomodels**
**Biobank**
VHIR offers a position within the Scientific Core Facilities for a Coordinator of Biobank and Biomodels (Animal
models of human diseases, Organoids and 3D bioprinting).
The Platform of Biobanks and Biomodels, promoted by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, aims to potentiate the
activity of biobanks and biomodels by offering highest level and quality cutting edge services of biobanking,
services of organoid production and validation, services of 3D printing and services in the advising and
execution of animal experimentation models of human diseases.
VHIR wants to create a biomodel catalogue of the services that can be provided by researchers at the Vall
d’Hebron Campus. The coordinator of Biobank and Biomodels will be responsible of this catalogue.
VHIR Core Facilities provide services to the scientific community to have access to specialised services of
preclinical and clinical models of human diseases (from rodent models to patient samples) and VHIR Research
Groups offer biomodels as services or collaborations.***

**Required**:
- PhD degree in Health Sciences.
- Self-motivated, proactive, well-organised and results oriented person.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork and relational skills.
- English level B2.

- Experience in project management.
- Experience in the health research sector.
- Experience in financial management and knowledge of ISO quality management systems.
**Main responsibilities and duties**:
- Identify and create a catalogue of Biobank samples and Biomodels (Animal models of human diseases,
Organoids and 3D bioprinting) available at VHIR and integrate it with the Platform of Biobanks and Biomodels.
- Create a catalogue of Biobank and Biomodels services.
- Internal organisation as a technical scientific service.
- Cost analyses of services and rate calculation. Archive documentation for audit programs.
- Establish a centralised procedure for service request management coordinated with the Platform of Biobanks
and Biomodels.
- Develop a feasibility plan and collaborate in the visibility and communication actions of this platform.
- Other management activities to fulfil the objectives of the project of the Platform of Biobanks and Biomodels.
**Labour conditions**:
- Full time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 25.556 € (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
