**Job Summary**
The SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) Senior Functional Consultant is charged with customer focused delivery and solution expertise. The consultant is responsible for delivering sound, high quality deliverables on time and within budget. The consultants are focused on the rapid transformation of client organizations into world-class managers of Supply Chain Collaboration Solutions that create sustainable bottom-line results.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Lead functional scope definition and design for SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration solution
- Identifies client issues and approaches for determining potential solutions, leveraging best practices and own experience.
- Leads customers through the lifecycle of an SCC implementation - from the project inception to its successful productive roll-out, leveraging the SCC deployment methodology.
- Conducts the required workshops (fit-to-standard, delta workshops etc) with the required customer stakeholders.
- Completes project documentation and deliverables (end to end business process description, functional design documents )
- Guide customers through the design process to make decisions with full visibility into SAP Best Practices.
- Configures and unit tests the SCC solution (together with all relevant project team members).
- Supports the customer during all testing phases, cutover activities and hyper care.
- Builds solution, customer, and industry knowledge by leveraging the appropriate resources (internally at SAP and externally at the client).
- Establishes credibility as a conduit for solutions expertise with customers (e.g., positive customer feedback), and is viewed as “trusted advisor” to the customer
- Applies a broad knowledge of SAP Ariba Supply Chain solutions and its integration to client’s backend ERP system.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- +5 years experience in implementing SAP ERP for the following functions:
- Basic Planning & Forecasting (MM, PP)
- Supplier managed inventory management (MM)
- Direct Materials Procurement (MM)
- Good understanding of ERP integration & B2B communication standards and technologies
- Good knowledge of procurement and collaboration processes
- Multicultural working environment previous exposure
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in customer facing activities, managing relationships with customer business stakeholders
- Fluent Spanish speaker - customer facing
- Fluent English speaker - customer facing
- Ability to travel 50%+
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in implementing Advanced Planning Systems (SAP IBP, APO-DP, Kinaxis, E2Open) is a plus
- Experience in implementing SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SNC) is a plus
- Industry experience in the following a plus:
- Consumer Packaged Goods
- Life Sciences (Pharmaceuticals and Medical Device)
- High-Tech
- Automotive
- Industrial Manufacturing/ Machinery & Components
- Experience with other Ariba solutions is a plus:
- Ariba Network, Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Invoice Professional
- SAP Ariba technical integration (CIG)
