You will participate remotely in important greenfield projects by joining a company that is one of the innovators in the Gulf Region with HQ in Dubai. You will be working with an international team to enhance and improve products. You will be responsible for developing features for newly launched Apps. The Data Consultant creates the research plans that are used in data collection and analysis. Assists in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking, internally managing, and reporting data, as well as participating in interpreting data analyses and developing action plans accordingly. Develops and implements strategies for optimizing
data systems and technology.
**Your tasks will include**:
- Provide consultative advice on data management and data governance principles
- Develop and manage databases and data flows
- Establish conceptual data frameworks to improve business processes
- Work with stakeholders from various departments to address data journey gaps and missing points.
- Ability to extract raw data files and generate simple ad-hoc reports from our various data
sources (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Access, ClickHouse, MySQL, MariaDB, and SQL Server)
- Data management, data warehousing, data integration, data migration, business intelligence, analytics, and project delivery across advisory and technical delivery projects
- Evaluate data, processes, and technologies to assess the current state and critical issues for
internal business functions as well as external client projects.
- Produce data reports to provide information to business units, such as documentation,toolkits, and FAQ guides.
- Improve data use, conduct research and make recommendations on training, equipment, and technology.
- Work with data scientists to create the insights in data through the agile analytical lifecycle
**To be a good fit for the Data Consultant role, you will have**:
- 3+ years of experience with Python
- Minim 2 years experience with Machine Learning
- Understanding of R and ETL tools
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI or Grafana
- Worked with Kafka and Spark
- Understanding of Microservices architecture
- Strong client-facing experience as a data consultant
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across the organization
- Cloud data service experience
- Know data security measures and to implement them.
