**Job Purpose**

Reporting to the Head of Airports Supplier Management, responsible for the relationship with critical suppliers in the airports area, who provide services to Vueling throughout its network, coordinating the optimization of the total cost. In the suppliers of his scope, coordinate the proactive monitoring of the supplier's compliance with deadlines, conditions, SLAs and guarantees, as well as negotiations for financial compensation for non-compliance with their obligations and develop the relationship with suppliers so that they contribute to the strategic objectives of the company.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Responsible for identifying and leading the implementation of cost savings initiatives from business critical suppliers (especially in the area of Heavy Maintenance).
- Collaborate in the identification of insourcing or outsourcing opportunities that reduce the company's cost base.
- Responsible for defining the negotiation strategy for critical suppliers in the category.
- Define, implement and coordinate resources allocated to critical supplier obligation tracking, as well as claims escalation.
- Report to the SPM Director on category savings initiatives under your responsibility as well as cost variances, risk assessments, mitigation or continuous improvement plans designed for critical suppliers.
- Advocate from time to time to the CFO, COO and Management Committee the recommendation on the award of supplier contracts under his scope.
- Responsible for coordinating with IAG GBS Procurement the launch of RFPs and tenders for critical suppliers.
- Collaboration (input delivery) with the Control and Maintenance area in the creation of the Budget, as well as the corresponding RFs.
Responsible for coordinating business cases defending savings initiatives or the awarding of certain suppliers.
