Tasks

We're looking for a FE Engineer to function as a central member of Kochava's front-end development team. The mobile user tracking and attribution market is challenging, dynamic, fun, and provides almost unlimited opportunities for personal and professional growth.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN A FE ENGINEER ROLE AT KOCHAVA
- You'll help improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the Frontend features
- You’ll help identify areas of improvements in the code base and help contribute to make it better
- You’ll learn, collaborate and teach other FE Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they’ve been in the industry.
- You’ll fix prioritized issues typically assigned to you by the Director of UI. These are typically bugs listed in an Asana task with an attached priority label.
- You'll write high quality code to complete tasks assigned to you.
- You’ll contribute to and follow our workflow process, alongside the rest of the FE Engineers team.

**Requirements**:

- Review specifications & provide time estimates on the development of projects & features.
- Identify user interface requirements & translate them into design solutions.
- Create prototypes to explore design ideas & support usability testing.
- Stay up to date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and Vue.js space.

Experience/Skills Required
- Highly proficient with JavaScript language
- 2+ years experience with the Vue.js framework and its core principles
- Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases
- Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented and clean solutions
- Experience with consuming RESTful APIs
- Fluent in English

Bonus points
- Experience with multiple programming languages
- A/B testing experience
- Unit testing guidelines
- Extra bonus points for strong understanding of MVC PHP frameworks, Javascript framework, JSON/REST Web Services & HTML5/CSS3
- Willingness to graciously switch gears & go the extra mile when changes alter project priorities
