We are seeking a proactive, hands-on individual with a strong background in IT infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for managing our IT operations, providers, and growing team, ensuring the scalability and availability of our technology as the company expands. You’ll report to the IT manager and work in a high-security environment with globally distributed remote users and a high ratio of contractors.

**The Role**:

- Lead and manage IT infrastructure for the organization.
- Drive the implementation of IT processes and ensure alignment with business needs and corporate strategy.
- Develop and manage a growing internal IT team, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment with the company's goals.
- Highly hands-on approach combined with strategic thinking.
- Responsible for daily IT operations and service continuity.
- Take ownership of relationships with key external providers, including service desk, systems, network, hardware procurement, and data center operations.
- Work closely with the Cybersecurity Lead and IT manager to ensure alignment with security and corporate strategy.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position.
- Extensive experience managing on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or similar).
- Proficiency in managing hybrid identity environments (Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, MFA).
- Deep understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP).
- Expertise in server and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Familiarity with IT security practices and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Experience in architecture and managing and deploying IT infrastructure projects end-to-end.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, or similar).
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); international experience is a plus.
- Certifications (preferred): ITIL, MS Azure solutions architect or administrator, etc.
