Vegan Cooks at La Crisalida Retreats are in both a guest-facing and back of house role. The vegan cook role requires knowledge and experience of customer care, nutrition, professional kitchen, health and safety, procedures and plant based food and juicing.
La Crisalida is a Health and Wellbeing Retreat. We serve plant based food and juices to de-stress the mind and body. We provide a program for guests which includes guided walks, yoga, meditation, life-makeover workshops, creativity classes, rebounding, dance classes and more. Guests can choose to take part in whatever activities they choose. Join our team and work with us to make a lasting difference in our guest’s health and wellbeing.
Essential skills and knowledge required:
- Fluent in English
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- 2 years’ experience in a professional retreat or vegan/vegetarian kitchen
- Good Knowledge of food allergens is vital
- Experience in a professional kitchen
Salary in the range of 17,250€ to 17,500€ per annum (depending upon experience - pro-rated down for hours below 40 hours per week). Straight shifts only.
This role includes shifts - the role will include working weekends, early mornings and late evenings.
