You will be part of the Europe and Asia (E&A) Business Development (BD) team, responsible for leading the bid processes at ICF. The team responsible for bid coordination and management for E & A are based across the UK, Brussels, Spain, and Delhi and regularly collaborate with colleagues from China, India, and the USA.

Within the role, you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of clients and thematic areas, from Policy Research and Implementation, Aviation and Strategic Communications and Marketing.

The role of Bid Coordinator at ICF will enable you to be involved with an exciting portfolio of opportunities. The multi-stakeholder environment will provide collaboration opportunities both internally and externally, including technical teams, pricing, contracts, procurement, partners and subcontractors, graphic designers, or editors.

The primary responsibilities will include:

- Production and delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes.
- Coordination of proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, solutioning, marketing, finance, commercial, legal and project delivery.
- Coordination of administrative and qualifying evidence required by the customer.
- Ensuring proposal documents follow corporate branding guidelines, standard formatting, and quality standards.
- Administrative support to Bid Managers and Senior Bid Managers within the team on large, complex proposals.
- Support in building and maintaining our internal knowledge management systems.

Required skills and experience:

- Around 2 years’ work experience in proposal coordination, preferably in a consulting environment,
- Understanding of public-sector procurement processes and market. European Commission sales experience is a plus,
- Experience managing team sites, SharePoint pages, internal databases, and pipelines,
- Experienced user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel,
- Highly organised and efficient,
- Adaptable to change and able to drive change through the bid team,
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in French would be a bonus.

- Ability to analyse information and make sound observations and recommendations quickly,
- Able to appropriately challenge the status quo to ensure the best solution is developed in response to client requirements and the agreed bid strategy,
- Highly developed persuasiveness skills,
- Understanding of how price to win is developed within a European Commission proposals environment,
- Resourceful and able to solve problems independently and in collaboration with other team members,
- Flexibility and willingness to provide support when it is required,
- Resilience and ability to work within short timescales,
- Curiosity and willingness to learn,
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), and a proven ability to collaborate with individuals and teams,
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills,
- Outstanding ability to work with people at all levels, including senior executives.
