Wood is recruiting for a **Senior ICE Engineer**to join its Power&Industrial OA Aftermarket & Services business, global leader in the delivery of project, engineering, equipment and technical services to the energy and industrial markets. With more than a century of designing, fabricating, erecting and starting our own equipment, we have the experience and capability to assess boilers and furnaces, recommend improvements, and predict the impact on performance, reliability and operation.

**The Role**

We are looking for an experienced ICE engineer, to participate in our Aftermarket & Services department with a broad range of program design skills who is ready to step up to collaborate actively in retrofit projects and improvements in Power Plants.

The typical I&C department scopes are:

- Basic and detailed engineering
- I&C and electrical engineering
- Application software development
- Development of Software Simulators for PC
- Fabrication of Control Cabinets, MCC and Power Cabinets
- Supply of field instrumentation
- Burner Management Systems (BMS) and Boiler Protection Systems (BPS)
- Systems upgrades
- DCS and Control Systems
- Remote access and Life monitoring systemsTraining and Commissioning

- Design and management of the development of the equipment used to monitor and control systems in power generation plants.
- Design of electrical panels and operating logics of Security and Control.
- Programming of Safety and General-Purpose Automata.
- Design of SCADA visualization systems / DCS Systems.
- Remote connection systems
- Historizers of Variables.
- Supplier management and Project Management.
- Preparation of Proposals and Budgets
- Collaboration in Retrofit projects and improvements in Power Plants
- Ensure the delivery of challenging project and client targets using technical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Provide technical expertise and support to the project manager to any business activity as required

**Expected**:

- Industrial Electronic Engineering and Automation or Electrical Engineering and Electronic Engineering
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in programming and ICE
- Customer focus and ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives
- Leading skills
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required

**Desirable**:

- Experience in steam generator equipment, power plants and clean air technologies.
- Proficient in managing client interactions and achieving departmental objectives.
