**The Role**

As a Unified Systems Operator at Kyndryl, you'll take on a critical role of monitoring, controlling, and maintaining cutting-edge systems across our expansive infrastructure environment. You’ll be the key to providing innovative solutions to both technical and business challenges - ensuring seamless operations that push the boundaries of what's possible.

Operations role is primarily focused on **monitoring, operating, and maintaining IT systems**across enterprise infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

- **System Monitoring & Maintenance**
Oversee Windows and Unix-based systems across server infrastructures, ensuring **high availability**and reliability of services.
- **Incident Management & Escalation**
Act as the **first point of contact**for clients, escalating problem incidents to appropriate authorities and ensuring timely resolution.
- **Infrastructure Changes & Requests**
Implement infrastructure changes, handle service requests, and support project management processes related to system operations
- **Preventive & Proactive Operations**
- **Security & Compliance**

Required Skills and Experience
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- Experience or technical knowledge of Batch Operations
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
- Collaborating with diverse technical teams
- Acting as trusted advisors to customers.
- Maintaining infrastructure through **continuous monitoring and proactive problem-solving**.

- Spanish and catalan languages required spoken and written.

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields
- Windows Server certification
- CCNA/CCNP certification
- SDWAN and network skills
