**What you will do**:
The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

In this position, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team of Product Designers, fostering their professional growth through mentorship and career development.

You will be instrumental in providing strategic guidance, ensuring design initiatives are seamlessly aligned with our broader product strategy and facilitating collaborative problem-solving across cross-functional teams.

Ultimately, you will be driving operational excellence in our design processes, overseeing the execution of high-quality design work, and ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional products.

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Product Design Lead in the Product Design team you will be in charge of:
**Team Leadership & Development**
- ** Execution Focus**: Lead and inspire Product designers, ensuring alignment with the product’s strategic goals.
- ** Mentorship**: Provide direct support and mentorship to designers, offering guidance on day-to-day tasks and long-term growth.
- ** Career Development**: Identify growth opportunities for team members and help them achieve their professional goals.

**Strategic Guidance**
- ** Team Alignment**: Ensure the design team is aligned with the broader product area strategy.
- ** Collaborative Problem-Solving**: Facilitate collaboration between designers and cross-functional teams (PMs, Developers) to drive product solutions.
- ** Resource Management**: Identify resource needs and work with the Product Design Manager to allocate resources effectively.

**Operational Excellence**
- ** Process Leadership**: Implement and continuously improve design processes to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality design work.
- ** Design Execution**: Oversee the execution of design work, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and align with the design system.
- ** Quality Assurance**: Maintain close oversight of the design output to ensure consistency and excellence in the final product.

**Stakeholder Engagement**
- ** Communication with Stakeholders**: Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes with stakeholders, including Product Managers, developers, and leadership.
- ** Feedback Loops**: Regularly provide and gather feedback to refine design solutions and ensure alignment with business needs.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- ** Collaborative Partnerships**: Work closely with developers, PMs, and other team members to ensure seamless product development and design execution.
- ** Process Coordination**: Facilitate collaboration between different functions to improve design and product development workflows.

- Bachelor’s degree in design, related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Understanding of complex e-commerce businesses, preferably with travel industry experience.
- Preferred experience in the travel industry.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring Product Designers.
- Demonstrated experience using data to inform design decisions.
- Experience hands-on in Product Design and research.
- Experience in A/B Testing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- English speaker with good written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
