Description
As a **Senior Lead Enterprise Architect**:
- SFA, you will lead Enterprise Architecture capabilities across projects, products, and architecture layers in the SITA for Aircraft (SFA) organization. In this role, you will drive the Architecture Governance benefits and technical strategy across the organization to assure improved architecture choices and capabilities.
As the technical authority for software development and architecture practice, you will coordinate SITA’s approach to architecting Data and API Products for SITA for Aircraft’s Engineering and Technology Portfolio. Reporting to SITA for Aircraft’s Head of Solution Design and Architecture Engineering Department, working in close collaboration with the CTO (arbitration authority) as well as the various Engineering teams and factories, responsible for providing the technology vision and strategy supporting the business needs of the portfolio.

**What you will do**
1.
_Technology Vision and Evolution Strategy_
- Define SFA technology ecosystem evolution vision and plan considering company's strategy, market needs and constraints, and technology opportunities to address business problems. This vision is elaborated and published jointly with the CTO (where do we want to go), to execute the SFA functional roadmap and strategy.
- Impulse a technology debt management mindset across SFA organization.
- Review technology debt, evaluate business risks, and build relevant and cost-effective plan.
- Architecture costs, operations effectiveness, internal teams’ knowledge, time to market, ability to scale up and execute efficiently, and compliances are aspects to include in the elaboration of the vision and strategy
- This vision consists in building and communicating a master architecture map.
- Support to innovation initiatives

_Architecture Authority (with CTO) for SFA technologies_
- Review and validate the design and architecture of product releases and customer solutions in the context of requested Architecture Reviews. Lead and manage the Architecture Reviews of SFA product releases and customer solutions.
- As part of SFA Product Development Lifecycle Process, support the factories on tactical design and architecture, security data compliance and management of proposed solutions. Participate to the Transversal Impact Assessments, taking place prior to the start of the Solution Design Process, to raise preliminary points of attention and provide first guidance on the solution to implement.
- As part of SFA Customer Projects Process, support the customer solution design process on tactical design and architecture, on security matters and data compliances and management on proposed solutions.
- Work closely with solution/Software architects in the factories
3.
_Architecture and Design Guidelines Management_
- Own, develop and keep up to date the SFA architecture and design guidelines. Keep the guidelines aligned with SITA Group rules and requirements.
- Adapt guidelines, among others, to the continuous increasing security requirements, data and regulation compliances.
- Collaborate with SITA data and security governance committees to review, design, and approve the data privacy, data usage, and security practices within the context of SFA and in line with SITA group rules.
- Centralize and organize the collective review and validation of any evolution of the SITA for Aircraft technical & design guidelines proposed by developments teams.
- Review, enforce, share and train any evolution of the technical, data privacy, security, and design SFA guidelines and practices in line with SITA Group rules.
- Build and update an architecture map of all SFA technologies and technical systems providing.
- Support CTO and work with SITA committees to align SFA with SITA requirements and rules.

_Architecture Community Lead_
- Animate and manage the SFA architecture community composed of technical leads and factory managers in charge of the design and architecture of their respective products.
- Leverage this community to exchange and collectively brainstorm on the guidelines to E&T departments, work on architecture struggles raised by the community, share good practices, discuss technology and innovation opportunities.
5.
_Portfolio Architecture_
- Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap for a suite of core and configurable solutions required to deliver Passenger Processing platforms and manage a complex in airport hardware estate.
- Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise data and metadata structures.
