IT Efficiency Technologist

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

HPE conducts global proactive and reactive customer engagement, strategic customer partnerships, and sustainability thought
- leadership activities using a team of technologists with expertise in IT efficiency, sustainability, circular economy, and other key sustainability topic.

The role is part of the **Engineering Program Management** Career Path (EPMCP).

In a typical day as **Sustainability Consulting Technologist **you:

- Engage with customers, governments, stakeholders, and investors to showcase HPE’s leadership in the topics of IT efficiency, sustainability, circular economy, and supply chain SER programs.
- Provide customer and stakeholder insights to functional organizations that manage and implement aspects of assigned topic areas to allow for continuous improvement.
- Train sales teams, account executives, strategic leaders, and employees in the value of HPE’s leadership in assigned topic areas.
- Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with management to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues.
- Lead articulation of assigned program elements in whitepapers, reports, presentations, rating submissions, and HPE’s annual Living Progress Report
- Successfully accomplish all team goals.
- Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing and/or engineering organization.
- Mentor other less-experienced staff members.

**If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education**
- Proven English fluency in addition to French and/or German fluency
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent technical topic
- 5-7 years of experience with enterprise technology products and solutions
- Experience in sustainability, IT efficiency and technology design desirable
- Experience in sales strategies, including direct customer engagements with executives
- Extensive experience in project management including the creation, management, and tracking of project results
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources
- Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills for large audiences
