Ibdp History Teacher

SEK Global Campus is looking to hire an **IBDP History Teacher for September.**

**Functions**:

- The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:_
- _Provide synchronous instruction and asynchronous student facilitation support._
- _Work closely with and support a broad variety of international students._
- _Foster inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to ask questions, analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions._
- _Support students in completing internal assessments (IAs) and preparing for IB external examinations._
- _Develop and administer assessments that align with IB standards._
- _Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments, assessments, and projects to support student progress._
- _Assist students in developing effective study and research skills._
- _Mentor and guide students in their academic, physical, socio-emotional, and ethical development._
- _Create a supportive online classroom environment where students feel respected, valued, and motivated to learn._
- _Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share updates on student progress._
- _Participate in virtual staff meetings, professional learning communities, and ongoing IB training workshops._
- _Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the Biology curriculum._
- _Stay current with IB curriculum updates and online teaching best practices._
- _Provide sufficient and timely feedback on student work._
- _Work with and collaborate with Tutor Teachers and IB Diploma Progamme Coordinator._
- _Other responsibilities as assigned._
- _Utilize digital tools such as ManageBac, Microsoft Teams, and virtual lab platforms to enhance learning._
- _Leverage technology to create interactive lessons, simulations, and experiments._

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences, History, Geography, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching IB History or Group3 (preferably online).
- Proficiency in online teaching tools and platforms.
- _Fluency in English (C1)_
- _Digital tools such as ManageBac, Microsoft Teams, and virtual lab platforms to enhance learning._
- _Master’s degree in History or Education and certification in online teaching or digital pedagogy (valued positively)_
