**Position Summary**
We are searching for one Visiting Scientist to embark on a transformative 3-month journey with our Research team based in Seville, Spain. Bristol Myers Squibb's Center for Innovation and Translational Research Europe (CITRE) R&D site based in Seville, Spain brings together computational, clinical, and translational research teams to redefine drug development. This paid internship would run **from the 1st of April through the 30th of June** 2026 and will **require physical presence** at CITRE in Seville.

**The project**
**Who you are**
- You are fluent in English, and capable of discussing scientific and technical topics
- You enjoy working in a laboratory environment, designing experiments and being involved in data analysis and interpretation.
- Previous hands-on experience in wet lab work, molecular biology, NGS or single cell RNA seq is desirable but not strictly required.
**Desirable skills**
Different skills may be desirable but not strictly required.
- Experience with wet lab work and molecular biology basic tools such as PCR, DNA/RNA extraction as well as with living cells and biological specimens.
- Familiarity with next-generation sequencing methodologies and single cell RNA seq.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a research environment.
- Ability to create clear and informative laboratory journals to document experimental procedures, as well as to report and present findings.
- Willingness to learn bioinformatics tools and to dive into data analysis and interpretation.

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
