**YOUR MISSION**

Glovo's Data Platform is the foundation for our Data Mesh architecture, a journey we embarked two years ago where we have developed a successful framework for fast development of high quality data products, following a declarative SQL-first approach and fostering a self-serve environment. Currently we have over 300 data products on production, with more than 2M queries weekly and over 200 builders across all the company with many different roles.

The Technical Product Manager will play a key role in achieving our next milestones, like handling streaming data products, enhancing a government by design approach, extending the capabilities of the platform to further increase the use cases covered and focusing on the user experience to continue reducing the cycle time from data to insight.

**THE JOURNEY**
- Strategic Vision:

- Develop and articulate a clear and compelling long-term vision for Glovo's data platform teams, aligning it with the company's overall mission and objectives.
- Drive the development and evolution of data platforms by outlining a roadmap that fosters innovation, scalability, and customer-centricity.
- Customer Focus:

- Deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors related to data building and consumption, ensuring that the data platforms meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Define and own key metrics that gauge the effectiveness, reliability, and impact of data platform services.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE**
- 3+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of defining, building, and launching data products that drive business impact and enhancing the development experience of Data Engineers, Analysts and Scientists, while extending it to the broader data user community.
- Experienced with Data Platforms, Storage Platform and Machine Learning technologies. Familiar with data processing in production, at scale. Understanding of batch and stream processing, as well as native cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of Cloud environments (AWS is a plus).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, with experience in leading trainings, producing user journey docs and communicating effectively roadmaps and plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, capable of leveraging data for decision-making and ruthless prioritization.
