Tech Scrum Master

PepsiCo’s Data Management and Operations team is tasked with the

responsibility of developing quality data collection processes, maintaining the integrity of our data foundations, and enabling business leaders and data scientists across the company to have rapid access to the data they need for decision-making and innovation.

**Responsibilities**
**As Tech Scrum Master your role will be**:

- Coordinates and communicates across internal and external teams
- Frequent communication with senior leadership to shape and deliver on the product roadmaps and

business goals
- Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective
- Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases
- Drive team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders
- Lead programs across a multiple, cross-functional teams from conception, through design and development, to delivery of tested, useable prototypes
- Work across cross-functional partners (engineering, business, and design) to identify

scope, constraints, dependencies, risks, and timelines across programs
- Proactively identify technical, procedural, legal, logístical, and communications challenges and

partner with leads to drive creative solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks
- Coordinate communications across internal and external teams, including upwards communication

to team leadership
- Frequent communication with senior leadership to shape and deliver on the product roadmap, and

requires to nimbly switch between strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve technical, and

business goals
- Build dashboard to show case team velocity and impediments in Agile development tools such as

Azure ADO, Rally
- Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective
- Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases
- Drive team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders, protects the team from the uncontrolled injection of work
- Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running

at a high performance
- Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Helps the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
- Assist the scrum and development teams in self organization
- Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications**:

- The ideal Program manager/scrum master will be highly quantitative, have great judgment and

passion for the business, be inventive, and have a strong track record of delivery.
- The program manager will dive deep to understand including the infrastructure, dataset

deployment
- The program manager will assist technical program manager to track record of building and

delivering software
- 6+ years of strong technical program management experience in agile environment
- Scrum master certification or PMI-ACP certification a must
- Exceptional business relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches,

and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
- A good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) models and a track record

of shipping software efficiently.
- Recognize the difference between building software and releasing software.
- A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills- Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
- Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
- Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
- Experience with successful Agile techniques
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Must have ability to motivate-self and stay focused and help team focused in spite of

organizational distractions
- Demonstrable experience of asset and knowledge discovery supporting the creation of knowledge

articles.
- Demonstrable experience of supporting data migration within the agile lifecycle.
- Demonstrable experience in working with product owners to identify, deliver and prioritize activities

required to build the
