We act as a digital outsourced regulatory department, helping clients establish effective internal regulatory functions. Our focus is on emerging technologies in crewed and uncrewed aviation, advanced air mobility, and U-space.

**Position**:Airspace Consultant

**Base**:Madrid, Spain

**Work Model**:At least 4 days per week working from office

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Support our global consulting team in complex airspace policy and regulatory projects
- Participate in the technical and regulatory aspects of national airspace modernization programs primarily focused on, but not limited to, the integration of UAS, providing expert advice on a wide variety of topics such as Airspace Management, Opportunities for improvement in UAS management by ANSPs, scalability of BVLOS operations in relation to ATM, or efficient management of HAO operations.
- Support complex airspace change efforts to accommodate and later integrate new entrants (drones, eVTOL and HAPS).
- Work as client side advisor to regulatory authorities on a wide variety of airspace topics maintaining a high level of integrity and independence.
- Flight procedures design.
- Airspace structures design.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, or related technical field.
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience, particularly with air navigation services/ATM/UTM.
- At least 2+ years of experience in the design of airspace structures and flight procedures (FPD).
- Knowledge in airspace management services at three levels (strategic, pretactical and tactical).
- Knowledge of UAS and associated standards.
- Ability to work from Murzilli Consulting's Madrid office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required; native or full professional proficiency Proficiency in another European language is advantageous

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiar with EU regulations regarding Air Navigation/Air Traffic Management Services and FPD service.
- Familiar with ICAO and Eurocontrol’s documentation regarding ANS/ATM and FPD.
- Familiar with EU regulations regarding UAS and UTM.
- Possession of a Certificate in flight procedures design (FPD) or solid training in this area will be highly valued.
- At least 2+ years of experience in the area of ATM and/or UTM operations within an ANSP will also be highly valued. Excellent time management skills, self-discipline, and communication abilities.**What we offer**
