Musgrave Spain faces three major challenges in the next 18-24 months.
- Move all facilities to a new installation in Monforte del Cid,
- Replace the current ERP, including the SGA and MRP parts,
- Incorporate new business formats (foodservice).
The Program Manager will culminate this in the period of 18-24 months with the transfer of facilities, with the start of activity in the new facility and with the effective implantation of the new EMS as part of the new ERP. The Program Manager will lead the participation of Musgrave Spain in the process of construction of the installation, drafting the Activity Project, acquisition of logistics equipment, equipment for the installation, implantation of the new EMS and, finally, transfer of facilities and start of activity in Monforte.
The Program Manager will also participate in projects to improve the area and optimize the logistics service that are assigned to it in accordance with logistics priorities and as a way of completing its global and integrating vision of the logistics area.
Reporting to the Logistics Director, the main responsibilities of the role will include:
**FIT-OUT of the new logistics facilities**
- Coordinate the participation of the other departments in the project for new facilities in Monforte del Cid.
- Participate in site/facility meetings
- Coordinate with the collaborating companies (SGS, GRUPOTEC) and suppliers to make sure the workhouse equipment works and that they are executed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with engineer ME tasks in the Activity Project.
- Detect possible incidents and unforeseen situations in the process and propose alternatives that mitigate the risks of delays or budget deviations.
- Lead the purchase processes of necessary equipment and machinery maintenance in accordance with the agreed investment budget.
- Control the resources assigned to the project to meet the objectives set for budget and deadlines
- Design and implement new work procedures in accordance with the new facility, the new WMS, new automation and new business formats whose logistics are managed from Monforte.
- Set the necessary resources for the transfer, hire the necessary ones.
- Carry out the final transfer with the warehouse and platform teams.
**Implantation of the new EMS**
- Acquire, in a short time, a deep knowledge of the current EMS and work organization in the different platforms. Detect improvement options.
- Lead, on behalf of Logistics, the implantation of the new WMS (and MRP) in collaboration with the IT department.
- Establish the parameterization of the system in accordance with the possibilities of the new installation and the changes and improvements provided by the new installation
- Train logistics teams in the use of the new system.
- Achieve through the new WMS, simplify/automate processes for better internal and external customer service and better productivity.
**Global logistics service optimization of ME**
- Know the organization and current logistics processes
- Detect deficiencies and options for improvement with a focus on the customer, both internal (Dialprix, Cash, Dicost points of sale) and external (consumer, foodservice customer)
- Prioritize key projects and propose improvement alternatives
- Set integration models for the Foodservice client in central logistics.
- Establish a criteria that will allow to measure the logistics service to the point of sale and final customer to achieve their excellence.
- Participate in the construction of the logistics structure in the short/medium/long term, which allows responding to the future needs of Musgrave Spain and the development of all its brands.
**Compliance**
- Know, disseminate and comply with the Musgrave Spain Code of Conduct, developed as a guide for our ethical values and which establishes the expected levels of all those who work with us to carry out our task with integrity.
**PRL**
- Know the risks of the position and the workplace. Through specific training in PRL according to the responsibilities that must be undertaken by the team managers provided by the company, it allows knowing the functions that must be undertaken in the areas of preventive management.
- Comply with work regulations: Among the functions of team managers is to control and monitor that the personnel of their team comply with safety regulations. The objective is to ensure that safety regulations are complied with and become a reality in the workplace. It is very important to collaborate at the time of the initial practical training of new people at the time of incorporation, especially in the security area. Team managers must manage any breakdown, failure or need for equipment that concerns their center.
