**We are selecting a person with experience in structure engineering, **, who can develop the design and calculation of steel and/or concrete elements that will be applied in industrial and power generation plant projects, to join our headquarters in León or Asturias.
It is envisaged to incorporate long-term professionals, according to TRESCA’s contracting policy, for a post with a high level of professionalisation, training, and professional perspectives. These professionals will be integrated into project teams of all the engineering areas.
The selected person will be incorporated into the civil department of the company and will oversee the development of engineering related to earthmoving, buried networks, metallic structures and solid management systems, in the context of projects developed by Tresca.
**Responsibilities**:
Development of conceptual engineering and prefeasibility and feasibility studies.
Development of conceptual engineering and prefeasibility and feasibility studies.
Pre-dimensioning, calculation, and specification: earth moving, drainage, foundations, structures, etc.
Conduction of specific studies related to structural pathologies, reinforcements, repairs and improvements in foundations, structures, buildings and transport systems, and solid storage.
Writing of basic and execution projects.
Advising the client and accompanying him in the decision-making.
Defining and participating in the whole equipment and installation purchasing process.
Communication with the client’s technical manager with respect to the works of his specialization.
**Minimum requirements**:
Desired skills and knowledge:
Experience in the design, calculation and specification of foundations and metallic and concrete structures.
Use of design and calculation software based on 3D models.
Intermediate/advanced level in the use of engineering and office basic tools: Autocad, Microsoft Project, Presto, Office, etc.
B2 level of English or higher.
Personal skills: Honesty, commitment, flexibility, focus on continuous improvement and ability to work in highly professional and demanding environments.
Other valuable skills:
Knowledge of civil engineering: earth moving, buried networks and urbanisation in general.
Knowledge in the design of solids handling systems.
Experience in design and calculation of mechanical elements.
Training in HSEQ.
