**Business Analyst - Data - Regulatory Reporting**

The Data team works closely with Regulatory Reporting, Compliance and Product teams to coordinate and execute all regulatory reporting matters on behalf of the Ebury group, including but not limited to AML branch reporting, jurisdictional safeguarding, trade repository reporting and transaction reporting.
Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury’s Data Platform and serve it to the whole company. This platform is the backbone of Ebury: it supports internal decision making, allows us to comply with Regulatory reporting obligations and enables commercial opportunities globally.
This Business Analyst role will sit with the Data team and work closely with senior stakeholders to translate regulations into implementable data solutions. This process requires the analyst to understand the regulatory reporting requirements, how this maps to Ebury’s business and operations, produce functional specifications and then work with a Data Analyst to ensure the data reports built in the data platform map to the requirements.
As part of the team you will:

- Work closely with the Data Engineering team, and with Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts
- Liaise with senior stakeholders in Regulatory Reporting, Compliance and Product teams
- Translate regulatory requirements to a language that is understood by Ebury’s business
- Build specification documentation, process design and implementation
- Present gap analysis in our systems and data platform of the required information
- Review of existing processes and procedural enhancements
- Manage downstream related processes ensuring timely reporting to regulators and other external third parties, such as auditors and banks
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Regulatory Analyst, Product Owner or Data Analyst
- Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders across senior levels
- Superb communication skills, both with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)
- Financial Services and Regulatory Reporting Experience is desirable but not mandatory
