**Data Engineer**

As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for building and machine learning products for client-facing platforms
The impact you'll make:
- You’ll be responsible for building geospatial algorithms that directly affect the way the ratings teams analyze the quality of projects.
- Work focus on building derived analytical data feeds on top of data sources.
- You will build automated data pipelines that collect and manipulate large geospatial data sets.
- You will work in research and ratings teams to integrate the outputs of data pipelines into business processes.
Technology stack:
- AWS as the cloud infrastructure provider (AWS Sagemaker for model development and deployment).
- Snowflake as the central data warehouse for tabular data.
- PostGIS is used for querying geospatial vector data.
- DBT for building SQL-style data models and taking care of the ‘T’ in ELT.
- Python jobs for non-SQL data transformations and modelling.
- Metabase as a dashboarding solution for end-users.
- GitHub Actions for CI / CD.
What you'll bring to us:
- You have 6+ years of experience in building ELT pipelines in a commercial setting and deploying these to production.
- Experience in building and deploying deep learning models for computer vision use cases.
- Solid experience in Python and SQL (writing a clean, maintainable, scalable, and robust code).
- Experience with a workflow orchestration tool.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience dealing with a variety of geospatial data formats will be highly valued.
